The Image: The Green Man is a figure deeply associated with the wild and the natural world. During the early modern period in England and elsewhere in Europe, men dressed in foliage—often carrying clubs—appeared in pageants, parades, and rituals as variations of the older European Wild Man motif. For many modern Pagans, the Green Man represents the renewal of the seasons, fertility, and our connection to the living earth. In Wicca, he is often associated with the Horned God, a modern syncretic figure whose imagery draws from earlier deities such as the Celtic Cernunnos and the Greek Pan.
The Fragrance: The main notes in The Green Man are oak, ivy, and acorns. It also includes notes of wet leaves, amber, oak moss, honey, damp fallen wood, mahogany, paprika, lavender, musk, orange peel, bran, ozone, rum, and bergamot.
Our Candles
Our hand-poured candles are crafted with 100% American-grown soy wax. We use eco-friendly candle dyes that may naturally fade when exposed to direct sunlight. Our fragrances are formulated in-house and are Prop 65 compliant, vegan, and cruelty-free. We never use phthalates or parabens. Each finished candle is thoughtfully topped with a trio of organic and/or wild-harvested botanicals.

We believe in sustainable spell crafting through the use of handmade objects, reusable packaging, and responsible harvesting practices. Every item is handcrafted with its intended purpose in mind. Whether created for atmospheric enjoyment, ritual practice, or simply to bring a little magic into everyday life, each piece is made with intention, care, and respect for the natural world.
Candle Care
Before each burn: Trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch. This helps maintain an even flame and reduces the chance of soot.
For the first burn: Allow the surface of the wax to melt completely to the edges of the container. This establishes the candle’s “burn memory” and helps prevent tunneling during future burns.
For the best results: Avoid burning your candle for more than 3–4 hours at a time. Always keep the candle within sight while burning and follow standard candle-safety practices.
