Incense paper
Our incense paper begins with natural mulberry paper, with each sheet hand-dipped and individually cut. Our fragrances are formulated in-house and are Prop 65 compliant, vegan, and cruelty-free. We never use phthalates or parabens. Each incense paper envelope contains 20 sheets of natural mulberry paper.
To Use as Incense: Take a sheet from the envelope and place it in a heat-resistant, fire-safe dish or incense holder. Light one corner of the paper, then gently blow out the flame, allowing the paper to smolder. The paper will continue to burn slowly until it has completely turned to ash.
To Use as Petition Paper: For a full-moon ritual, write your intention, wish, or manifestation on a sheet of incense paper. Take a moment to focus on what you wish to bring into your life, then burn the paper according to the instructions above. As the paper transforms into smoke and ash, visualize your intention being released into the universe. Allow the paper to burn completely, then let the ashes cool before disposing of them.
Our Philosophy
Gnostic Apothecary Co. creates handcrafted goods that bring together nature and spirituality. We believe in sustainable spell crafting through the use of handmade objects, reusable packaging, and responsible harvesting practices. Every item is handcrafted with its intended purpose in mind. Whether created for atmospheric enjoyment, ritual practice, or simply to bring a little magic into everyday life, each piece is made with intention, care, and respect for the natural world.
Incense Safety
Always burn incense responsibly. Place your incense cone in a stable, heat-resistant incense holder designed to safely contain hot ash and embers. Keep burning incense away from flammable materials. Never leave burning incense unattended and keep it away from children and pets. Burn incense in a well-ventilated area.
